American Fast Food

Russians sure do like American fast food and _____s - I see a lot of Coke, Sprite and Pepsi bottles, some ■■■■ that looks like a Russian version of Budweiser, and a lot of bags from McDonald’s and buckets of Kentucky Fried Chicken - is this some sort of cultural exchange program our participants are involved with?

It’s cheap food. They also eat a lot of shushi, so It’s not all about America and more about global stuff everywhere

That’s how it is. We are living in a global world.
With Budweiser I think the influence might be just as much the other way though, it’s based on European ■■■■.

I saw few times belgian beers too: “Stella Artois” ! lol

Haven’t seen that one, but that happens to be my own favorite!!

I prefer Stella Artois myself - believe it or not, I don’t like most American beers, they’re too weak and bland. Except for Michelob, which is brewed pretty much like European (German) beers.

Me neither, just mentioned because it was talked here
You should try Leffe in case you didn’t yet.

Never heard of that one - but then again, I live in a rural area that doesn’t go for a lot of imported beers except for Stella, Heineken, Guinness and Corona. What country is Leffe from?

It is interesting to see, indeed. Lots of McD’s and sushi and pizza. There are some that actually do cook real meals in their kitchens more often than getting take-out, like Kristy and Timotheo, and most notably Kira of Nina-Kira fame is outstanding in the kitchen. She can whip up a home-cooked secret family recipe in no time flat, breakfast lunch and dinner. I like to watch her work in the kitchen.

I agree with Eldred, Budweiser is not ■■■■. Then again, I love me some PBR now and then LOL. But let’s keep this thread on track. The tenants have (or can only afford) bottom shelf thirsts. I’m amazed I haven’t seen a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 show up.
