If you’re referring to ‘amphibious’, there’s nothing to figure out. The word means what it means, as I explained in detail above. You can’t change the meaning of a word just because you want to f___e fit it into your little cubbyhole and make it mean something it isn’t. It doesn’t apply to light and dark or what they do in one room vs another. Find the right word. Amphibious isn’t it.
