Amelie & Lucas (Part 1)

Not really… the phrase is at least in British English grandm____r, maybe different in other forms of English but not sure about that? :frowning:

two women can not open a bottle of ■■■■, it is not their brains that press their shoes flat

If taken literally, then yes but contextually speaking, ‘grandf____r’ (or grandad as Robwin said) could be considered correct too.

Maybe I am being dumb and can you explain because I cannot see the context in there. cheers
May be better to PM me rather than clutter up this thread

Was merely referring to yourself lol, perhaps not one of my better coments

Ah cheers pal, and thanks for explaining
As far as I know, my kids don’t have kids yet as they haven’t left high school and I am 46, so theoretically I could be a grandf____r but that’s a bit way off yet, hopefully

I was simply referring to appropriate gender so yes the context was there, assuming my understanding of you being male was correct.

exactly, b___dy roastbeef !

Well not in mind, but the body feels like it sometimes

I prefer mine cooked properly…no b___d! :innocent:
I have never understood how people can eat it when it’s basically still mooing at them! ‘Rare’ as it is known, in culinary terms.

I know I am talking about literal roast beef and you weren’t but my point still stands.

well done ? Beurk

Yes, cooked properly or I might as well go into a field and go and chase (and eat) a cow that is still alive and happily munching on some grass…poor thing! :cow:

well done? your meat no longer has any taste (unless you cover it with this kind of weird English sauces….) So you might as well eat grass
if we continue on this register, we risk being expelled

It doesn’t have to be tasteless (that is a common mistake people make, along with thinking a well done steak will automatically be tough…NOT true, if done by a chef who knows what they are doing) and yes, I might put some kind of sauce on it, to complement the already existing flavour, as long as it doesn’t risk altering the flavour / taste of the red ■■■■ I might also be _____ing with the meal.

I wonder why Pixie still has her pant on. May be she is on her red days?
