I do not see that there is exactly a bad atmosphere, it is true that they seem to have expelled Tanya from her bedroom but other than that the treatment is not bad. They are Ukrainians and possibly their character is colder, for example to me that I am Mediterranean, some behaviors may seem cold to me but for them it is probably a correct and normal treatment.
