Surely you must have realised that by now

I am a slow learner :upside_down_face:

Cable ties is not a good idea. Just some screws which really ā€œbiteā€ in wood. You can use wood glue for additional security there too. Drill holes with a bit smaller diameter. Insert wood glue. Then use screws. I bet my ass you can mount an elephant to that after it :joy:

I reckon you Jabs, should be given the job of chief cam fixer then we would never have any problems ever again. Good idea eh?

I can almost guarantee you if you use the same size piece of tape as you did for just the camera by itself, the added weight of the board will bring it down in a heartbeat.

Fuck it, just borrow my drill and fuck what the landlord says. Hint do not knock down the whole wall as then you will not be able to put up the camera, OH and your neighbour might be able to see you.

I bet against that. Did you see my calculations? You should of course use all the area with the tape… Not using the same amount of tape as with the smaller area.

Ahhh but a bigger board would have more tape on it surely you can see that
Greater surface area and all that crap you know.

Wow you are also quite sharp (today) :joy:

Cheeky sod lol, well i have my moments

Then again you guys you are assuming the walls are all painted, they may have wall paper on them so using adhesive tape may rip the paper off the walls

Well, of course, if you use more tape, but you never said anything about using more tape. You just said you have a bigger board with more surface area, and, of course, more weight. That’s why I said what I said.

Well, they were already using tape.

But using more surface area board wouldn’t be any good without using more tape would it.
Come on Lets you can’t beat our scientific knowledge this side of the pond.

What about using Command Strips, they don’t damage the walls. I guess that begs the question, can you get them there?

Well won’t make any sense to increase the surface but not adding more tape???

That is why I did not mention it…

And you still truly believe there is anything resembling sense in this forum?

You’ll be using b___dy blue tack next

Yes of course. But they already take that risk by now. But wallpaper replacement is easy. Easier than fixing holes in the wall.

A wooden board fixed to the wall with these and you can mount a tank on it :joy:
