The video and the pic staring this discussion is from the mountainous areas of Norway. You can probably find similar pics from the Alps. In the lower regions. where I grew up, it’s not that bad of cours. Although I can remeber there were pretty heavy loads of snow some winters :smiley:

Jeg er norsk. Bildene og filmklippet er fra meg. Jeg er godt kjent med snø og is.
Født og oppvokst i Mo i Rana, og har flyttet på litt rundt i Norge.

Hyggelig å treffe flere nordmenn her forresten. Jeg er opprinnelig fra enda lenger nord, nemlig Finnmark. Har bodd i Oslo i over 40 år nå, så jeg er vel nesten å regne som søring etterhvert :smiley:

Based on the movement, I assume the ‘table’ is always perfectly balanced. Magnets shouldn’t play a role here.

That’s a fair point…

…And now I come to think of, it my error was in thinking that either gold or bronze (assuming the metal we see is either of the 2) are magnetic which neither of them are anyway.
