You, sir, have a dirty mind!
I’m glad you like it, but two things. One, that’s a dog. And two, there’s no effect, that’s the actual picture. I just brightened it up a bit because the colors seemed rather dull.
Don’t cry, it was a joke. All of us here on this site have a dirty mind.
also joke. what else
Just wanted to make sure.

I thought the darkest black is called “Muso Black”
That was facinating, thank you for posting the video.

…I thought the darkest black is called “Muso Black”
Musso Black is a water-based acrylic paint developed by Koyo Orient Japan Co., Ltd. in 2020, and is known for its exceptionally high light absorption, absorbing up to 99.4% of visible light. This makes it one of the blackest paints available to the public, surpassing traditional black paints which typically absorb 94-98% of light.
Musso Black is a paint that is sold to the public and can be applied to probably most surfaces.
Vantablack is not a paint, in fact, it’s not even a color. It’s a material made of nanotubes that has to be grown in a laboratory, and is not available to the general public. They are very small, about the size of an atom. You can fit a billion nanotubes into a square centimeter (a centimeter is 10 mm and there are 25.4 mm to an inch).

Vantablack is not a paint, in fact, it’s not even a color.
I wonder how many people realise that black of any kind is not actually a colour. It is in fact a light value, as is white.
General ‘rule of thumb’…
To get a shade of something, add black to the hue (the pure colour in question).
For a tone, add grey.
If you want a tint, add white.
Fun fact: If you combine Red, Green and Blue together as lights, you get white.
Also, on a digital colour wheel, RGB are direct opposites (and therefore considered complimentary colours) to CMY - Cyan, Magenta and Yellow.

To get a shade of something, add black to the hue
ahhh…that is what happens when we get this.
too much hue for my taste

If you combine Red, Green and Blue together as lights, you get white
years (and even more years) ago, I bought some oil paints and tried painting pictures.
Most of the time, when I mixed the paints (not ligths), I ended up with a pile of gray
Yes, far too black isn’t it?!!!
We would definitely need more colour in that image and preferably for it to be a moving one.
This morning a Norwegian couple woke up with an unusual guest in their garden, a 135 meters long container ship. The ship ran aground with its tip 7 meters from where the couple were sleeping. For some strange reason they did not wake up when it happened, and didn’t notice the ship until a neighbour made them aware of it.
Happy ending to the story, nobody was injured.
The incident was shown on German television yesterday. It’s kind of funny that the homeowner didn’t wake up until his neighbor rang the doorbell.
Neighbor Jostein Jörgensen says that he was startled at 5 a.m. by the noise of a ship crashing into his neighbor’s property “at full speed,” as he reported on TV2.
Johan Helberg was still asleep at the time and was initially unaware of the incident, he told the NRK radio station. “But we woke up when the neighbor rang the doorbell loudly. He said: 'Have you seen the ship?” he was quoted as saying by the broadcaster. “That was completely absurd. When I looked out of the window, there was a huge ship’s bow.” If the ship had hit land five meters to the right, his house would probably look very different now, Helberg said.
