You must have seen

Today we take a lot of things for granted. There are machines that can do almost everything. And we too easily forget that for much of human history there were NO machines, just tools… and thousands of unknown people. We are amazed that there are centuries-old buildings that are more epic than any new building made of glass and steel, but we no longer appreciate the achievement

Or we walk over bridges that were built by the ancient Romans and wonder about dilapidated bridges that are less than 50 years old…

and this applies to EVERY craft. I am e.g. Fan of the series ‘Forged in Fire’, where blacksmiths compete against each other, to name another craft as an example

I agree with you entirely.

As for ‘Forged in Fire’, we are lucky enough to have that on British television too, via what’s known here as ‘freeview’. I must admit, I have been known to enjoy some of the episodes.

I still can’t figure out why I was drawn to The Path of Fire on YouTube.

You can probably only answer this question yourself… once the b___d has flowed back into your head

I reckon it was the size of her…
…welding nozzle!

I hope that’s just a really good 3D tattoo!

RIP Good Old Lurch (1995 – 2010). Sorry, I had to check if it was photoshopped. It looked absolutely incredible. :smiling_face_with_tear:

I have a suggestion for a new tattoo for Trisha! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Very good optical illusions…

Not a tattoo I don’t think but a VERY well edited picture, with a rather convincing overlay, showing where the light would naturally catch certain angles.

Both of the above tattoos are verified online. Use image search on google if you are interested. My joke that it would have been a good fit for Trisha (wasn’t well received, but…) lies with video on TikTok! :hugs:

Ah yes, I see what you mean. In that case, I stand corrected.

Scroll down to the next to the last one on this page.

Please look at some of these from an artist’s point of view. I think you’ll enjoy them. There’s a butterfly that I swear looks like it just landed on the person’s neck. This is the first page.

That must have cost millions and taken years to finish. Just the background scenes alone are amazing!! The volcano, the airport, the highways, the attention to detail is off the charts. Outstanding!!

BTW, what song was it playing?

That’s the problem, especially with classical music: you usually know every melody, but rarely the title. or the composer
