I think it is emotionally quite cruel saying you cheated only to reveal later that you joked. No matter if he did it to get some attention on the apartment or just wanted to pull a (very bad) joke it is not okay.

He said many things who are not ok at all. Even locked the door when she went to take the trash bag out and checked her phone. A total prick, very manipulative person. She’s a very good girl, very attached to him and he takes advantage of her
