Yes and donāt forget the famous English song ā2 World Wars and 1 World Cupā. Oh wait was it not the Americans, who without them, we would all be speaking German now. Also another famous English song āitās coming home, itās coming homeā I think the World Cup, is more at home in either Brazil, Germany, Italy or France. The only thing that ever came home to England were the defeated Army from Dunkirk and the Defeated English football fans. 
careful with that! it almost was the americans because of whom everyone now had to learn german 
according to the legend, english only had a slight advantage over german when voting on the american national languageā¦
England is not a island as it has borders with 2 other countries, Britain as a whole is a island but also if you believe England is a island then it isnāt unique as every country is a island.
