Aw crap, Patrick Stewart has died. A great actor and awesome person, he will always be my Captain. As a teenager Star Trek TNG was very important to me, quasi religious, and the character he portayed so brilliantly became a role model, an epitome of ethics and responsibility. Faced with a moral dilemma I would ask myself, what would Captain Picard do?
This haunting song that a talented youtuber made from Star Trek samples brings back so many memories of what that show, and particularly Stewart’s Captain Jean-Luc Pircard meant to me.
