I am a non-subscriber but registered member. After signing in I can’t get rid of the realm thumbnail preview pics like I was able to do with the previous version.

Standard VHTV allowed response.

If you read further at the top of the thread, VHTV has already responded to this. It was a bug in the old version that has now been fixed in the new one…

The issue was a bug that allowed everyone to access a feature meant for paid members only. This has been fixed in our latest update. We suggest considering our paid memberships to fully enjoy our services :cherry_blossom:

If you are on a laptop, just click the sliding ā€˜dot’ next to the word ā€˜preview’ and the previews will disappear. Furthermore, if you press the one which says ā€˜autohide’, they will disappear on their own, after a short time (a matter of seconds).

I have no idea what happens on phones though.

they could always buy a massive tv that way the thumbnails are as big as most phones and its like watching pic in pic

If the preview images ran as a live stream, this would even be an advantage. Not only for the free viewers, but also for the paying ones…

I have no idea how this is responding on other devices since I have only used this site on a stationary device until now. A stationary PC to be exact. No experience with how it works on other things. :joy:

Well it would be the same on PC and laptop as far as I know.

However, I do have to correct myself because I misread your orginal comment I think.

I reread it and I saw that you said you are NON subscriber. Maybe you wouldn’t see any preview control (the ā€˜dot switch’ I was mentioning earlier) at all, anyway.

I apologise therefore, if I mis-led you.

I am a premium subscriber as of per now and have always been a premium subscriber for as long as I have been a part of this community.  The functionality of the site will be more or less the same if you use a laptop or a stationary unit I would reckon. :joy:

Well I have just realised my actual mistake. I was replying to the wrong person regarding the information I had given.

OK, now I am quite confused. I was trying to tell all of this to @Tyrel72971 !!!

My apologies to both of you guys for MY confusion.:man_facepalming:

We have different identities. Luckily. And we have different colours on our logos when we appear on the forum. Ha, ha, ha… That was kind of funny I think… :hugs: :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Yes, I simply got the names (and rather weirdly, the 2 different green colours) muddled up!

kaya or vhtv am i reading this all the wrong way , it works out only 3% savings on a normal 30 day premium subscription , which is allot less than the normal offers , or is it just to help those that cant afford a full months subscription , by the way im not being flippant , its a genuine enquiry

Okay so not been on since the new updates. I now have to become a premium member to remove the preview overlay?

Sure. Shorter membership options never cost less per day, then longer ones, those are dedicated for users who don’t want to spend money on full membership/don’t have enought time/are interested in a short-term membership
