Website Says I'm banned

yes when they change position i change the camera angle too so this is why i open several tabs it’s more simple for watching

When you do this, all videos start playing. This is how the archive works - you open the video, and it immediately turns on. This is how it works everywhere - in pornhub, in YouTube. Don’t do that. At least it’s not free for us. It is quite logical that we would not want anyone to do this. There are, as it seems to me, simpler and more logical ways to search for videos in archives. In any case, when this happens, we always analyze the situation with the help of employees. And if we see signs that your account has been hacked, we will unban you, just ask you to change your password. But this search method, I repeat, is completely unique - no one except you does this, and we have quite a lot of subscribers.

This behavior would not have resulted in a ban.

no it was not my case, I was banned because I downloaded videos from the vh archive with a software

Sorry But with pornhub, Xhamster and youtube you can switch autoplay off so not all is true what you saying.

I sometimes watch archive videos from several angles (multiple tabs) and I never got banned at all I think the system works really well :+1:

I specifically went to pornhub and YouTube and tried to find this setting. For 10 minutes I could not. On YouTube, autoplay affects whether the following videos are automatically downloaded. And the video that I click on from the list always opens and immediately starts playing. Perhaps there is such a setting somewhere. But it is hidden very deeply. Perhaps, in the time that the average user finds such a setting on YouTube or pornhub, we will have time to write this too

it’s not true the vids start playing right away as i right click them and open them in a new tab… because the search tab stays active… only when i activate one of the tabs with a vid, it starts playing… else this method wouldnt have any use…

not sure if he search the same way as i do but…

When I open a vid in new tab from archives (Press on with mouse wheel) it only starts to play when I switch to the tab it is opened in.

How rude!!

In fact, these videos get loaded if you specifically open the tab and let your browser initialize the player (everything takes a couple of seconds).
In case you (batch) open the links in the background tabs, YouTube or Pornhub videos would not play in the background.
This may be different in different browsers, but it becomes a widespread standard nowadays.

It is something we should take into consideration as we’re about to re-build the Archives. To make sure our player for Archives behaves as modern standards expect it to do.

When you open the page in the background, the video really does not start, but if you go to the tab with it, it will start and play regardless of whether the tab is in focus or in the background. YouTube and pornhub behave the same way. The bottom line is that we would not ban a person if he watched the video one by one in open tabs. Apparently he was looking at them all together.

well… i wasnt watch them all together… that is something i dont do but probably i started the buffering on several tabs at the same time… btw if you analyse my data you probably notice that i seldom watch a vid all the way… a download would download it complete.

How is that possible? I only have two eyes and not good at multitasking at all :joy:

I know what saying about youtube it starts auto.
But with pornhub Schermopname (7376)
It does not even if its in a new tab.

even if he watched videos at the same time where is the problem ? i don’t understand

Okay, I double-checked this at our Archives now, and it does not, indeed, load the videos when tabs are opened in the background. Goods news.

Which brings me to the point is if anyone does really want to open several archive videos at once, with intentions to watch them away, in the “sane” scenario you would either:

  • Open the tabs in the background by
    • Right Clicking and selecting this option
    • Ctrl+Click or Cmd+Click to do the same thing more quickly
  • If you open the tabs in the foreground, which means that this action leads your browser to switching to the newly opened tab, and the video is played, you’d better stop it to prevent further buffering. But I can’t imagine anyone opening several videos at once playing simultaneously with sound on.

It doesn’t buffer when the video is paused. It buffers as you watch.

@HendrikIV and others provided valid points in terms of their user experience. You may have your reasoning to open several videos in the same time, which may help you with searching for something. But that means that the Archives are lacking the functionality which would help you not to do it this way. We will take a look into it and will be rolling out consecutive changes to newer Archives versions, which will include lots of what we have collected via your feedback.

I never open another tab when I watch VHTV. I click on a house and the video plays live. I then check the 24 hour archive and if I see something interesting, I click on that and the screen then goes to the archived video. Always one tab. Look, if I did something wrong against the terms of service, I wouldn’t make an issue of it. Don’t tell me I’m opening multiple tabs when I’m not. It’s hard enough for me to figure out how to open up one tab. I’ll finish up my 17 days on this site and it can be someone else’s problem after that. This site is just not worth it.

Definitely, this is not the only and not the main detection criterion.
