I think you are looking at this from the wrong perspective.
They are living exactly the way they would live in order to succeed. That doesn’t make them actors, it makes them intelligent and astute businesspeople. They should be commended for this, not criticized.
I don’t recall VHTV or the participants ever claiming that the site was a documentary.
In actuality, we are seeing large portions of the participants’ lives. We can see the vast majority of their day, except for short periods when they leave their apartments.
I think what you meant to say is what you see does not resemble your life or that of anyone you know. That is OK and it might be accurate. But it doesn’t make the participants’ lives on the site any less real.
I am just wondering who is happier and more satisfied in their life, you or the participants?
