Video and audio quality

Agree, bad wiring ruins the experience. The same applies to tripods which I personally hate. We may be introducing a reward system for studios who aim for overall higher quality content. This will include clean installation & wiring. Hope this will solve the problem with lazy & cheap installation.

The case when cameras are put on hot glue or duct-tape is driving me mad.

Angry Season 2 GIF by The Office

The managers are working right now.

Thank you I thought it was just me being picky, The landlords need to look longer term without the short term damage s being done now because its costing them cash for the damage being done .

Everyone would be happy to count on long-term cooperation, but very often the participants do not live even one month to the end. This is due to many factors, although they can all be called one expression - the human factor. Therefore, managers often do not want to spend extra time and effort to do everything well and beautifully, and personally I understand them perfectly well. When an apartment has been operating for a long time, as a rule, the wires there are brought into proper condition.

Realm67 has very nice wiring for example.

Colleague, you are so sensitive

Realm 67 what room is that in lay-mans terms please , I go by room names not numbers Sorryyyyyyyyy

It is driving me mad too :joy:. He has my support  :+1:

Stifler and Goldie.

Better than most but far from perfect

Realm4 for example is a total mess with cables. Well that place not only with cables… :pig: :upside_down_face:

When it never gets worse I won’t complain

fully agree

Great to hear, that there are new cameras planned. That is hopefully a good step in improving the qualitiy of the site!

I can understand, that a manager does not do a a nice and beautiful installation from the beginning of a new apartment. But, i think it would be good to put a bit mor effort in such things, both for the tenants and the viewers. Hot glue and tape should not be allowed as this is a constant thread of cameras falling down. Cables should at least be fixed to the wall. I don’t think, this is a lot work and also doesn’t cause to much damage (not more, than hangig a picture on the wall i guess).

Btw, here is an example of an interesting installation in an apartment from long-term tenants  Things like that should not exist from the beginning. It is easy to plug out the cable just by accident.

That is realm18. A very “old” place where standards were lower when it opened. But I agree that should be fixed now…

Think i would k__l the guy that put cable clips in my walls

And mine!

With the better cams in place can we repeat all the hot stuff happened in the last 4 years? :innocent:

The reason it takes so long for us to introduce new cameras is the difficulty of fitting a time machine into a small case.
