From what I have seen with Telegram it has its own bots on there and there is a list of them here including moderation bots and translation bots.

I moved it to Wiki category where Operators have moderation rights. This should work as a work around 5-post limit. The limit itself can’t be customized.

Don’t honestly see what the problem is with using this Telegram channel as apposed to Twitter, Mastodon (never even heard of that one) or any other form of communication.
At least this way it’s all in house and VH can use it/control it however they want to.
As long as you set your setting to “Watching” you will always be in the notifiction loop.
Also as long as members don’t a___e it by posting innane stupid comments or remarks as happens in most other topics on the forum.

There could also be an argument for having Telegram soley for VHTV announcements and updates full stop.
In other words not allowing any comments from members as even with the very best intentions it’s only gonna end up being so full of crap from members as most other topics are.
There is always the feedback option for members suggestions etc why duplicate just for the hell of it.

There could be a topic here name “Telegram suggestions” where people can only post video snippets, gifs and pics and VHTV can decide if they use them for Telegram or not

Yeah that’s one idea i suppose but if you ain’t careful you (not you personally) are only gonna end up with topic after topic just to reply to a topic if you get my drift :laughing:
There are so many topics now i doubt if most members are aware of most of them anyway and most ain’t worth the effort :laughing:
At least as you suggest, having a VHTV Telegram Channel and a response channel would keep the main VHTV channel clean and readable as then it’s only meant really for VHTV announcements so we are all kept in the loop without any hassle of reading through pages of crap.
