Yes I think it’s likely that at some point soon they will give everyone this bug filled version permanently.
What the f@#k is this beta about? I don’t like paying to be a Guinea pig. Test it VHTV then WHEN it works PROPERLY release it. Problems so far are 1, timeline jumps between cams. 2, Sometimes when moving from camera to camera it jumps back to live or skips ahead several minutes. 3 All of my favourites have gone for the 3rd time. 4 The pictures are from cam 8 and 7 the timeline is showing 05.26 in GMT which is my time and cam 8 is correct at displaying 08.26 less the UK BST difference but cam 7 the time is 12.56, that puts Chuck and Chloe about 9 and a half hours +GMT. As I said above I don’t like paying to be a Guinea.pig

I really wonder why they have to switch the running system to beta from time to time. Is there really no other way to test things!?
There is. But they just do not use it…
I only just resubscribed after a few months of not doing it - I’m now going to request a refund because of the state of the site, its stupid. Betas are usually opt-ins for a reason.
actually it is not really professional to switch a running system with paying members into a test/beta system for whatever reason. Especially unannounced. I am working for a company that provides Software and Online-Solutions as well. I wonder how our clients would react if we would switch all systems into test or beta system to see what happens…

Too much like hard work no doubt, either that or they don’t want to pay beta testers. I think the best way for both VHTV and some lucky freeviewers is to ask the freeviewers to be the Guineapigs and view the site for free until the beta is bug free. Obviously it is possible to run the beta for some and not for others as it seems to be a mixed bag on here judging by the replies. I myself wasn’t on the beta when I first looked in on this thread. I saw plenty of people complaining that their favs had gone but mine were fine.

It is not long-term and this allows us to fix errors found by users.
The policy of our site is that users who made a refund are being banned, as we incur losses because of this.

I second that, @VHTV_CEO , please, you can see that your faithful and regular users are clearly being affected by this business decision - please intervene.
That is disgusting behaviour. They are obviously making too much money to care about the odd user bailing. In all honesty though it isn’t hard to join again under a different email or if the ban is IP based then just request an IP change from you provider claiming you current IP is being attacked or has been blacklisted by a site you visit regularly.

It was extremely slow and laggy earlier, seems fine now, although something has happened to my account, either I’ve been demoted levels or the forum seems to think I’m new
