No, I added them. This was the first number I tried. I wasn’t sure about the exact date of the anniversary because last year the event was a few days long. But I just calculated for the final day, added the leap days and figured that if it’s not right I would only be off by one or two in either direction so I would have just tried until getting the right one.

Yes that was how it was intended to be solved. The easier ones should be all solved by now I guess.
