Oh yes, that is one of my all time favourite songs, written by the one and only Jimmy Webb. My favourite version of the song is by The Four Tops, with Levi Stubbs singing, one of the best male singers ever.
There is one more Arthur here, who according to the archive was Astrid’s girlfriend. So let’s get them both a song, starting with Astrid

If anyone dared to listen, that is an old Norwegian folk song. The title simply translates to Astrid, my Astrid. The song has been recorded by many here in Norway, but this is a version as good as any, by one of the best contemporary folk singers in Norway. Now moving on to Arthur
