This is very true. But, if the same person keeps giving these or emojis for no good reason, wouldn’t that be considered trolling?

That was also my thought but now that I know according to kaya that it has no negative impact on the status, my thought is more like this:
He hasn’t started writing anything yet. What if he suddenly starts with it because he is no longer allowed to use the angry emoji excessively? Can we expect high-quality contributions with such infantile behavior? (rhetorical question)

Honestly, I personally don’t have any hard feelings about the whole “trolling” signs as long as people aren’t being rude or insulting, I really couldn’t care less. But it seems like most viewers tend to be more sensitive about things like “he dislikes my posts too often,” so just let me know if this happens, and I’ll give them a warning and probably mute them if they ignore. I just want to keep place comfortable for everyone

I know it was removed by James on purpose, I just mean I couldn’t move it back earlier as I didn’t know why it doesn’t have “unlisted” status and still isn’t in feed

I just don’t understand why people get so worked up over likes or dislikes, for me I don’t really pay to much attention if someone is giving a thumbs up-down-left-right, at the end of the day it doesn’t matter or really mean anything. JMO.

Hey if it makes other people happy then I will give the odd emoji reaction, but you will notice in the grand scheme its not a lot. Plus I was more referring to myself that I don’t care what is used or if someone gives me a thumbs up or down.
The fact that you don’t understand other people in this matter is therefore the logical consequence of the fact that you yourself don’t care. Now I understand your first post better.
Since I know from kaya that negative emojis don’t have any negative impact on status, I’m also more relaxed about it.
But with a look at it objectively: Aren’t using emoji reactions a non-verbal way of communicating? Therefore it is understandable to me if the “misuse” of negative emojis can be annoying. It’s just unnecessary and childish and can disturb the peace in the forum - because not everyone is as relaxed as you are.
Do people really care about what level they are on the forum? If negative emojis did effect impact on status, just get another account like before when the “heat” gets to much on the forum
I still remember very well how much the restrictions annoyed me in the first days/weeks at a lower level. I can’t tell you exactly anymore, but the number and type of posts are significantly restricted and I mean, a few other things…
In short: Yes - I think people would really care about what level they are if their opportunities for interaction would be restricted as a result.
Considering that your account is around 2 months old I would imagine you do remember it, the initial level is to protect the forum from spam so people can’t just sign up and post links straight away but that level is quickly passed if you interact with posts
We already have people who have opened 2nd or 3rd even 4th accounts because they get into arguments with people and then try and hide behind a new account when those rules don’t exist already so I assume that what people would do if those rules did exist
