The meteorological one is much easier to follow.

All you have to remember is that meteorological Spring starts on 1st March (St David’s day for our Welsh friends), knowing there are 4 seasons, each lasting 3 months and you can work it out from there.

With the prospect of going off topic (sorry Jabbs) The astronomical calendar follows the Summer and Winter Solstice and the vernal and autumnal equinox which aligns to the hours of daylight. :innocent:

Yes I know that, hence my comments about the other method being, as I put it, “much easier to follow”…if less accurate.
