Time Limit

The 3-day option is only available once with the provided promo code. After that, you must choose either the 30-day subscription or one of the other options. Alternatively, you can cancel, but then you won’t be able to purchase another 3-day subscription.

Well, man. I spoke too soon the other day. Now I see the people you were talking about and it’s not a pretty sight

Right?! I’m just waiting for one of these chuckleheads to demand that every feature be free for an indeterminate amount of time or THEY’LL LEAVE AND NEVER EVER COME BACK EVER AGAIN NEVER EVER EVERRRRRR!! It sucks that people like you have change currencies or navigate a labyrinth in order to give your money to the project while others bitch about a lack of free features that do nothing to fuel it.

Yeah, I hope everyone who has payment issues - including myself - can figure something out. The sad thing is there’s lots of actual valid criticism that could go towards the project and I also understand that there is a recession which probably makes it difficult for lots of people to maintain a subscription as it is. But to claim that they need multiple hours a day for God knows how many weeks just to make a decision is insane. You are either into this whole concept or you aren’t. An hour a day combined with the forum content should be more than enough to decide if it’s worth it.

And no doubt a reduced load on their sever(s). Could have possibly been considered as well :man_shrugging:

But from my perspective I really don’t care.

what hour of whos time zone does it reset? I am -6 as where Henry is +3 so does it reset at 1200 am Henrys or mine?

Would make the most sense to use UTC (Zulu time) for that.

But I see you ARE a Premium Subscriber now. VHTV’s evil plan works.

Due to the Valentine contests  for some days
:loudspeaker: BIIIIINNNNGOOOOOO

Make the best of it.

That’s all Folks….

Your ‘time limit’ policy is, from a marketing and commercial point of view… absolutely RIDICULOUS and DEPLORABLE…
I am sure that this is a VERY BAD METHOD for trying to bring back members (who are disgusted and have left you – like me) – and who are simply waiting for more attractive apartments (and not “actors” who play cards and get bored for days in their apartments!

I’ll summarise my expectations - before coming back and paying: (free advice to VHTV marketers)

  • remove a lot of “dormant” flats where absolutely NOTHING happens anymore
  • Encourage more or less active flats to invite nice, “active” couples or more “local” people (e.g. Thais in Thailand or nice expats staying in the area who want to “play the game”).
  • Organise parties with several “liberated” couples.

Perhaps make some free cams available to better show what you might be missing out on when you don’t pay…

That’s my advice, but you can do whatever you want…

That’s all Folks…

The only remark I have for this is grandfather members who have been here over a year or two and those that previously had premeium accts and right now cannot affford to renew time limits for newbies who are just scouting i agree with the limit but some of the other have showed loyalty should be rewarded. IMO

The TIME has come………

Seriously, do you really need 50+ apartments?

I mean, I live by the ”quality not quantity” saying……..

I mean, everyone is broke now……But I can unbderstand ths decision - cams were buffering and going down more times than Bonnie Blue(waffle)

The policy from VHTV always was that they won’t remove apartments due to being dormant or having no activity.
Only manager together with the participants can decide on that.

They need to think carefully if we should change that as it will put a lot of pressure on apartments. I am not sure if this will be a good solution

However I agree that apartments which are offline for more than four weeks without giving any plausible reasons should be removed from the project.
Especially the ones on endless relocation where it’s quite obvious they won’t come back.

About the motivations for participants I think that’s why VHTV does the contests. The downside is that after a contest the activity significantly declines in ALL places. Just like we experience right now

I guess i have a totally different understanding of the concept ‘real people, real life, real time…’ as some users here.

they go back to ‘real life’, so for me the contests are ‘upside’.

sometimes, when you ‘look’ at something, you should go to extremes:
How many ‘quality’ would you find in 1000 apartments compared to ‘only one’?
I guess more.

Sure. Still my point that activity declines remains valid.
Such “dry” periods we always had on the site and in general they are nothing to worry about.

Well about that I think that’s an important point. From all the places opened in 2025 with new participants only 16 “survived” Two of them are on endless relocation. So let’s make it 14

The quality definitely should improve. We have now a rather unusual long period without any new apartment openings. Maybe there are already changes on the way.

I just wanted to disagree to this

Well I prefer 20 good ones out of 25 rather than 10 good ones out of 50.

I agree statistically the more apartments you have the higher the chance to get any good ones.

But that’s too easy thinking. If it were so easy China and India would easily have the best soccer teams in the world as they have the most people so statistically they should also have the most good players
