Time Limit

To begin with, nobody said that this was a rushed decision.

I’m not sure what would have changed if you had known in advance that the cameras would be locked. I doubt it would have made you feel differently about the outcome.

I also don’t agree that we’ve dug our own grave. We understand that we may lose some free viewers, and we truly regret that, as we’ve always worked hard to create value for both paid and free users. Still, this is a decision we believe we can sustain.

I know this hurts many of our friends out there, and I’m sorry, as is every member of our team. Your feelings are valid. At the same time, we must make decisions that allow us to provide the best possible experience for our paid viewers and the best conditions for our participants.

You’re absolutely right, we should have communicated this change more clearly and ahead of time. That’s on us.

That indicates it was rushed.

No, she literally said, “we should have announced it in advance.”

For example, if I decide to ban your account today, and. ban it in six months, but don’t make any announcement before it, would that automatically make it a rushed decision? I don’t think so.

By making such a decision, you will only destroy this platform and drive away quality viewers. Not everything in life is about money; no viewer will agree with you because you chose money, disregarding the effort and friendships built. This decision and action will not benefit the platform in any way; on the contrary, it will make things worse, but by then it will be too late.

I will say what no-one else dares to say ,Freeviewers have been carried for to long after all it is a subscription based website ,The forum should be enough to give enough indicators if its worth subscribing, NOW i KNOW i have pissed off quite a few forum members now , which means ive succceeded in what i intended to do , now i will just pop off to my rocking chair with a glass o whiskey with a smug old smile on my face :joy:

But it’s the free viewers as you call it, helps keep the site up & running. Because it creates internet traffic. And some free viewers might then sign up to the full experience.

Until I hit financial difficulties. I was a fully paid up subscriber to the site.

It is nearly the 1 April joke. (April fools day) 2 April everything is back to normal.

I’ll say this again: Money, money, money. Everything else is idle talk.

True, but in the UK where I am and the company that runs the website is supposedly is. They should know any change to the T&C’s require a minimum of between 14 & 28 days notice.

Maybe if they changed it for paying viewers. But for people who do not pay I do not think this applies in any way…

The terms and conditions have not changed.
As a non-paying member, you have not suffered any financial loss due to the new time limit.

As I said in the beggining this move will only backfire on them and will hurt the project longterm.

For sure they are blocking out possible new subscribers, because why in the world would anyone subscribe if he does not get an idea of what the project is about and gets familiar with the participants at first?

Keeping only the current subscribers (which they will eventually get bored and leave due to lack of new content) for sure it will harm the site.

And from this desperate and rushed move you can tell their subscriptions are definately not doing well.

I’m curious to see if this turns out as what I expect, let’s wait and see!

In my opinion, this time limite not benefit VH
It would be preferable to keep people connected and offer other types of limited subscriptions that everyone could pay (half cams). In my caseI have no choice abandon it

How much “overview” is needed to decide on a subscription?
Up until now, non-payers have criticized the content, prices, and system errors, repeatedly pointing out that a subscription was out of the question for them under these circumstances.
Now these people have one hour a day to see if a subscription is worthwhile. That should be enough.

A lot of the criticism you speak about is due to people wanting a subscription but the card processing company rejects the valid credit card.

Which also falls onto the site owners to make sure all valid credit cards are accepted. Unless like mine are maxed out.

And about the apartments. That criticism is what has already been said. It’s just been added to. So the site owners are aware of the problems.

I am going to go beyond a little bit If they want the non payers to buy subs. then they should at least let you see all the rooms with the new time limit. Alot of the action that goes on in realms is either in rooms that are not free or have really bad cam angles. I used to be a pre. sub. but could no longer afford it so I never renewed. With all that being said I really enjoy coming to the forum to get the latest gossip

I suggested weekend subscriptions for people who are working and can’t watch that often but nobody ever got back to me,plus it would help people who are not that financially well off.

think this kind of covers that argument

just buy then cancel the repeat subscription then buy again next week

I know you can do it that Way but I’m on about a legitimate short term subscription to save messing about it cancels automatically save people with a bad memory like me havin to remember.

I’ve just checked the payment page. And that 7€ for 3 days doesn’t exist, it’s a full 30 days or nothing.
