The Whining Room

This isn’t a VHTV problem, they are only following the laws set out by the Uk government.

I know it’s a uk issue but even using a VPN. I’m now getting blocked. As the website still thinks I’m using a UK ip Address.

does your account email address end in .co.uk ? might be something to do with that,

No, both accounts I use end in .com. I’m beginning to think that it’s because I’m a FREE user, and as I haven’t got sufficient credit to buy a subscription on my credit cards.

you dont need money on your credit card to verify your vhtv account , aa valid credit card proves your over 18, just click the verfy account option add credit card details they dont take any money , then you can view free cams no problem and when you get enough money to buy a subscription you dont have to go through the process again

Before you go to vote for your best ever Nigel, try to remember that:
Leaving the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) wouldn’t just affect foreign deportations—it strips away protections for British citizens right at home too.

The ECHR isn’t an EU body; it was created after WWII (heavily written by British lawyers) to protect ordinary people from state overreach. If the UK leaves, everyday British citizens lose a crucial safety net to hold their own government, police, and public institutions accountable when things go wrong.

A few real ways British citizens rely on ECHR protections:

Holding Public Bodies Accountable: In fact, ECHR principles (specifically Article 3) have been used by victims’ families to force independent inquiries into systemic state failures—including police failures in child abuse cases and historic disasters like Hillsborough.

Protecting Veterans & Armed Forces: British service members and their families have used ECHR rights to demand proper equipment in combat zones and force investigation into military training deaths.

Securing Personal Privacy: Key rulings against government mass surveillance, unlawful DNA collection of innocent people, and police phone-hacking were secured through ECHR standards.

Guaranteeing Fair Trials & Free Speech: It protects British journalists from being forced to reveal confidential sources and safeguards the right to protest.

Removing the ECHR doesn’t fix local council cowardice or bad policing—it just removes the highest court of appeal British citizens have when the British government or police fail to protect them.

That’s only a few important things worth to think about, so beware what you wish for …

Very well put, because Farage keeps on banging about quitting the ECHR. But he never realises as you put it. Churchill created it after WW2 and we’re at the very heart of it, most of the rules are based on our laws, with a few tweaks.

Fun fact. “Farage” sounds very much like the German word “Verarsche” which means “screwing people over” :joy::joy:

I can’t understand why VHTV doesn’t use a device that’s built into most phones, tablets and laptops to help people in the UK.

I’ve even got one attached to my main PC, and that’s a camera.

So for example and it was used on a defunct website called motherless.com.

As that got closed down for copyright infringement, but every time I logged in, I was forced to take a selfie.

So why can’t VHTV setup a scheme like that, take a selfie and that photo remains valid for 24 hours, providing you’re using the same external IP address that the initial photo was taken. As I only ever access the webcams at home using my home broadband. You can gain access on wherever device you’re using.

yes that would make things simpler all round but when ever as VHTV really been tech advanced lol :winking_face_with_tongue:

You and anon both miss the point with admirable panache and energy. You come out of EHCR and replace it with a BRITISH Bill of Rights that keeps all the good stuff like freedom to associate and freedom to worship etc BUT jurisdiction is subject to BRITISH courts and not European courts which is where the problematic divergence has begun.

This is a change of subject……. What I’m beginning to see a lot of are “camming” models/couples…. I understand that this niche attracts VHTV as participants; I mean, the normal Miss Bloggs who has morals wouldn’t want to “flash the gash” (to coin the phrase), I get that, but…… VHTV wasn’t this bad with it, even during “lockdown”..

That’s my whine.

The majority of all the places now are the couples doing cam shows and i dont know i understand some have to make extra money but it kind of ruins the voyeur realism kind of experience compared to how the site used to be or is that just me?

I mentioned this in the “Whining” thread….. Kinda getting out of hand

NB. I’ve no objections to “camming”; they do them, but not all of us want to watch it in third-person via VHTV

If camming weren’t allowed, the number of realms might perhaps fall to less than half. Would that be better for you? (Just a theoretical thought)

Ich seh es Auch so . Wird langsam mehr und die Seite hier verliert langsam dass zu was es eigentlich steht . Aber ich denke dass lässt sich nicht vermeiden .

Of course sex only for camming instead of ‘lets do it, i want’ is not my taste also.
For the rest: what would some of them do instead of camming 5 hours for other platforms?
5 hours watch TV? 5 hours read a book? 5 hours watch and talk on fon?

I noticed this in a very extreme way with the new place realm163 (Davie & Olesya) They can’t do anything without filming them all the time. For me personally annoying to watch.

If people only film occassisonally like for example Kairen or Andreza it is not as bad.

Kinda sucks if you only follow one or two realms and those realms are the ones camming , heres a suggestion "try looking at the realms that dont cam and use your imagination :winking_face_with_tongue: :winking_face_with_tongue:
