Right, let’s speak the truth and make some noise about what is going on here. We are paying consumers, everything in everyday life is going down the drain quality wise, but we are paying more every single day. The same thing is happening with the project, when will we speak up about this?!

It’s going through a bad patch currently because of what happened at and the loss of a Manager.
It’s definitely not what it was not many realms currently worth watching I’ve said many times vhtv was at its peak in my opinion from 2019-2021

Lol I live in western Europe, and let me tell you right now, it’s very very prevalent everywhere. I don’t suffer from it much myself as I earn a good living, but the majority do not.
Also let’s be honest, we put our hard work and effort into funding this project, if the quality has dropped we have every single right to speak up.

There is some inflation. Yes. But what does that have to do with VHTV?
VHTV is a product we use our money on, if the quality drops we should speak up about it. Would you not do the same if your gas company started pumping hazardous gas to your house? (Obviously this is an excessive example)

Less apartments, temporary participants that seemingly “live” at these apartments.. the absurd amount of camming apartments etc…

Personally I do not think this has to be a bad thing. Cutting the dead wood sometimes is necessary to bring new life to the forest and allow the healthy trees to expand.
You mean guests doing housesitting when participants are away? I think this is better than switching the place to offline
I did not count them by now but there is always some kind of fluctuation with the number of apartments which do webcamming only basically. None of these places will last long as the history of the site showed.
To answer your question “The Project is falling apart” on a forum perspective
I agree with you, it seems people are caring less about the project and seemingly lost interest,
Common decency has disappeared from the users towards the participants & Guests on the Forum with insults aimed towards them nearly everyday
We have Rules that seemingly nobody is interested in applying them
We have people who volunteer for Jobs for the “benefits” and not actually do what is asked of them
This Forum used to be so Vibrant and now it’s just mostly a Ghost town

Let me say a bit more about the fact of less apartments. I think before opening new apartments which are mostly copycats of other apartments of the respective manager lately the focus should be laid on bringing something different and more interesting. Not the same couples only in an apartment where often even the furniture is the same as in other places.
This might be a factor why a site feels stale and not fresh anymore.
Also the total neglectfulness in many apartments about the positions of the cameras is just another factor contributing to the fact that it feels that “Nobody cares anymore”
However I still do not think that the project is about to fall apart because of that. It is just room for improvment.
I will be very honest - I’ve been working here since 2018, and even back then I constantly heard that “the project is falling apart” and “it’s not what it used to be.” I’ve heard the same every year. So I don’t think that’s really true, though I understand people have their favourites apartments/groups, and a lot changes through the time, or even with abscence of one. So, of course, your opinion is still very relevant as it’s different for EVERYONE. But it’s probably more of “it’s not that exciting for me” than “you’re doomed!” =)
About the “paying more” part - I understand you mostly mean inflation, than our costs. But still - our prices didn’t really go up much during the years, especially the most popular one-month membership, which we always try to keep as stable as possible, except for what we should change to cover inflation or, for example, removing USD rates this year because of… Well, we all know why.
Besides that, there are many external circumstances that directly affect the project, the tenants, and everything happening around it. Covid, war - all of this has an impact and can’t just be ignored. So what I’d say is since the project reflects real life, it sometimes feels more like THE WORLD is falling apart. Sadly.

However on the technical side there were some clear improvements lately. The biggest one is that the ooops messages are nearly completely gone.
I fully agree about that. These topic arises at least once or twice a year. Never the site came even close to falling apart. And it is true that a global site will always be influenced by what happens in the world outside. We can’t change that. Just try our best to make the bad influences as small as possible.
But nevertheless there is always space for improvements we should use. Continously not only because of such topics.
