Well I don’t think you can compare violence to a decision in life somebody takes. I am sure Goldie sees the baby as often as she wants.

I think we all agree that the m____r is important to the c___d.
If it is important, yes I have a c___d and can judge that.
But one must also bear in mind, even if Russian television says otherwise, that Russia also has more and more rising prices and more unemployed.
The Goldie brings more money than a Striffler is unfortunately also clear.

Perhaps i was lucky and was raised in a time when family values were important.
Having raised 3 c___dren who had their m____r with them full time, maybe we were also lucky that society then valued that and also lucky that i was able to support them comfortably without any hand outs from the state that so many these days seem to expect.
Times are so different now and unfortunately not always for the better.

i think you are absoultely right for all of that @robwin. Also we were lucky enough not to be brought up in Russia , and like you i am old enough to be brought up by a m____r who did not work until both my sister and i were old enough to cope with school keys etc.
But i am afraid your first line says it all. Maybe Jirina has the same problem . How do we know whether they are also helping with grandparents as well. Maye the grandm____rs are the baby help with Stiffler?
I agree with you, much is changing and some things are not for improvement. Even if I am not a paid member at the moment and often take time out from the forum, because offline family is more important. Can I say that my c___dhood was more relaxed. As a c___d, I was allowed to fly alone and was allowed to become a pilot. The Christmas markets were not so protected against all possible dangers.
My parents were normal middle class, but put a lot of time and money into their c___dren.
Now I can give their efforts back to them by a) supporting my parents and b) making sure that my family is well.

I am quite aware that the modern world has changed so much from us old farts time but i am very proud to have been brought up and lived though those years and have tried to have passed on as much as one is able to our kids and think so far i seem to have done a reasonable job. I only hope they do as good a job with their family’s, at least the signs are good so far.
Mine too, both with good jobs and marriages and even a grandd______r for me enjoy.

I agree, it depends on the values you convey and how you take care of the c___dren. By an employee of mine, the c___dren are brought up by the TV, which runs almost 24/7.
