Thank you for letting us know. I am so sad the poor cat died, but I’m very angry that it’s the only solution anyone could see. At least now he’ll have the peace and comfort in death that he wasn’t allowed in life.

Thirteen is not old. Seventeen to 20+ is old.

Plus, this cat did not exhibit signs of old age. It had sudden onset of convulsions, extreme pain and complete loss of appetite. Those are not symptoms of old age, they are symptoms of sudden onset of illness and should have been cared for by a vet immediately.
