Blini (crepes) are flat and round, but similar to pancakes, you’re right. Looks like that’s chopped chicken cutlets. Quick and easy to cook, but also delicious 
these are not pancakes, this is something fried in bread crumbs
I know they are not pancakes as those are thin but to me they looked like waffles but hey that is why I asked the clever viewers for an answer. Now I am even more confused

I think you will find they are actually fritters of some kind or another. Maybe sweetcorn, although I don’t see anything obvious to suggest that is what is in them…or indeed a frying pan, just the saucepan.
