At the risk of making myself unpopular, may I suggest that people remember this is effectively just a sex site and not get so utterly invested in the participants? I am astounded at some of the passion and invective that gets directed at what are total strangers.

The situation with the Ukrainian members is a little different as that is demonstrating COMpassion.

Well that’s where it is flawed isn’t it and maybe the system needs to be reviewed and changed where necessary? @VHTV_James no one is saying that the flags are viewable not even the count.

I think the flag system works quite well when it is reviewed and taken care of faster. The situation with the flagged posts and therefore the topic closed occured because nobody was taking care of a large number of flagged posts for quite a time.

I’m not interested in being put forward for this in anyway but is the level system even working properly? I only ask based from my own experience because I used to be awarded the “regular” tag on a daily basis accompanied with a couple of emails daily but the “tag” never actually lasted for the entire day, also didn’t get a 2 week “cool off period” when I did get promoted

I’m probably in the minority but I thought the bot shutting down the threads randomly was fun and spicy. It was like Russian roulette for the forum. :sweat_smile:

Changed my mind as I will do more in supporting Jabs.

It was a suggestion to help the forum to give an agreed number of members the choice to decide if it is controversial or not and that voting through flags is a fair means of accessing a post as it is done a temp thing not permanent unless of course, VHTV decides otherwise.

That’s the most fair way to do it, as 1. something needs to change 2. I really don’t see anyone else making suggestions.

Well I like that idea. Let’s see why posts get flagged here?

  • Posts of Spam bots
  • Insults towards tenants / guests / people in forums
  • Deliberate trolling

So I think when at least 5 people flag a post it could be at least temporarily be removed with the chance maybe for moderators and / or TL4 members to put it back again.
In same way the ability for system to lock topics should be disab__d.

Actually I did see things I call deliberate trolling from only a few users here. And when these ones flag each other and remove their comments it is even better :joy:
