Iâm making my GIFâs now completely in Filmora because the quality is much better and with no limits.
Just an example
But Filmora is chargeable, isnât it?
Yes. I tried it first but i now i have the paid version.
The picture quality is definitely top!
Filmora is awesome.
The difference in the color profile is enormousâŚ
Arielaâs Apartment
VHTV cam vs. (very probably) professional cam
Thatâs why the difference in price is alsoâŚenormous
I did a test to check comparative colour averaging in both pictures. The one on the left came out as being ALMOST 50% neutral grey (47% to be precise), with the just about visible flower pot in the corner showing fairly close to natural terracotta colours and the other âaveraged outâ picture was actually a rather yucky pink, with said flower pot being red! This meant that the one on the right was actually rather over saturated.
This all might sound rather technical but itâs a good way to check certain qualities of images. My over all conclusion was that in THIS case, the VHTV camera has got it right.
That is interesting. I thought about the color oversaturation because Ariela looks quite tanned with the CB cam - but in reality she is certainly much paler.
Forum has forced me: If you upload them individually, they are side by side in the preview which looks much better (to me). If you then publish the preview, they are suddenly one below the other. So I take an mp4 screenshot of the preview and convert it to a gif.
Hereâs an interesting idea / challenge to try if you wishâŚ
How about taking that concept one step further and literally combining the moving part with the still image?
In Photoshop, one could achieve such a result by using something called a layer mask, where the part you intend to be the moving one is masked out of its original background and placed over the intentionally still image and either manually re-animated or would be part of a bit of video footage in the first place.
Not sure how other software (AI based maybe?) might tackle this though.
If I have understood you correctly, then my contribution to the March 8: A Tribute to Our Stunning Queens! competition was made according to your description.
That is amazing reminds me of the beam technology used by Starfleet Command. Cheers
It is. In keeping with the motto of the competition, I wanted to emphasize that Shana is out of this world.
Well yes, thatâs basically it, albeit without any additional visual effects.
EDIT: I just realized that my gif above is somehow incomplete (The input of the flowers was missing. So I have uploaded the gif again. Now itâs complete )
IâLL SAY!! HOLY SHIT!! Jawis, I must have missed your GIF when I was going through the topic because I sure donât remember seeing it. This is just amazing. Let me explain.
My phone screen, which is all I have at the moment, itâs a very tiny 2.5 * 5.5 in (6.35 * 13.97 cm). Anything smaller than that size I consider to be a thumbnail, no matter how big it is.
If I canât enlarge something at least to the size of my screen and still have decent quality, I canât save it because the quality is beyond fixability, if thatâs even a word.
Usually, the GIFs that get posted on the forum, I canât get even to the tiny size of my screen without devastating loss of quality. Your GIF, on the other hand just took my breath away.
This image is just about the size of my screen, and the quality is excellent.
This image is as large as I could make it, and the quality is still great.
I would never be able to do that with any GIF posted on the forum, so far as Iâve seen. Some are better than others, but I have not seen any as good as this. And, itâs less than 14 MB!
I donât know what youâre doing or how youâre doing it, but please teach it to everybody else.
Excellent! Excellent!! Excellent!!!
Thanks letsdothis
I sometimes use AI to upscale the original video. I then convert it to gif in Filmora at the highest settings. For me they are the best in video editing for a small price. For this gif i didnât touch the original because it was good enough. Only with good lightning you can make a good video from VHTV footage. I prefer not to do something with the original because AI can make a mess of it.
Very true.
Great if you can start with a bright (well lit) image / footage but It can be added very effectively (if done correctly - and I most certainly DO NOT mean by using AI) âafter the factâ.
