I have even heard that kind of thing in totally (temporarily) unoccupied apartments when residents are out. Sometimes it’s quite obviously construction based and in others, a total mystery.
Yeah it was strange as Phillipa had no reaction to it 
Was fairly loud really.
Suppose it may have even been the hot water pipes knocking as they heat up as all apartments are communally fed.
