I’ve still not seen anything moving in Jules’ reptile tank, and I’ve been checking regularly. I think they might be imaginary friends. He said “Marshmallow if white or Shrimp if pink”. Which is either one that changes colour or two of differing colours. Can we start a reptile tank watch to see if anyone spots these fab__d beasties? Lighting isn’t always great, but sometimes the living room curtain is drawn aside a bit so daylight hits the tank. Biggest hindrance at the moment are the two floor lamps used for the camshows. Jules didn’t respond to a request for photos unfortunately. :pensive:

They hate me then. So it’s some sort of snake/slow worm thing.

no idea, i;m a dummy in reptiles, it seems to move like a snake but it was very slow…

That one could well be ‘Marshmallow’. A quick internet search tells me that juvenile slow-worms are pink ivory or gold. So likely two juveniles. Gah, more kids on VHTV!
Will need to keep my eyes peeled for the pink one.

I really like pets. But these ones? Nah :joy:

I knew a Brazillian guy who kept poisonous frogs. Pretty to look at but hardly cuddly. Couldn’t really have an emotional support treefrog.

found another moment… now it goes from right to left but it’s the same…

Found a pic of Marshmallow, in the green shell thing.

Better one on the rocks, looks like a salamander, I think there are legs.

That’s a nice pic… needs a poem

Definitely got legs. Salamander it is. And yeah, a poem for Marshmallow/Shrimp. Hmmm…

Thanks. I will add it to the directory…

It might be a Newt though … I’m trying to identify it right now. haven’t found anything so far.

What am I looking at / for, in this picture?

Bottom left of glass tank is marshmallow/shrip.

It’s a Snow Leopard Gecko. I noticed the ear hole which newts and salamanders don’t have. Also there’s no water in the tank so it can’t be amphibian. the ridges on the tail were also useful in identification. (Oh and just to point out, in case it needs to be pointed out, this is for illustration and isn’t Marshmallow/Shrimp herself).
