As (almost) usual I can’t figure out the book. Some of you are better at that.

This book is Aghora: At the Left Hand of God (Russian title: «Агхора. По левую руку Бога») written by Robert E. Svoboda

Thank you for the info. I guessed it was something about Indian religion and spirituality :+1:

You really just need to find a somewhat clear view of the book, then make a snapshot only of the book, and run that through google image search.

I’ll be damned, it’s that easy. I guess I’m a stubborn old grumpy still relying on my own intelligence, when it is slowly fading away at the same time :joy:

Anyway, thank you for the crash course. Let’s see if I can get it next time.

I could not get a good image of the book, so @Crerigan must inform us about what he was reading.

We’re currently on a bit of a David Eddings binge.

Ortica is reading The Diamond Throne, the first book of The Elenium, while I’ve already bulldozed my way through that trilogy and moved on to Domes of Fire, the first book of The Tamuli.

So yes, there is currently quite a lot of Sparhawk happening in this household.

Also, you obviously can’t see this from the stream, but if the whole “participants reading actual books” thing has somehow caught your imagination, I can always send you a photo of our bookshelves.

Fair warning: that may answer the question “what do they read?” while raising several new questions about our storage decisions. XD

Yes, we have topics on the forum about other stuff tthan the usual, and I’ve always found this topic interesting. It is fascinating to see what’s being read here, everything from fantasy books and Stephen King, to history and philosophy (Nietzsche). And a pic of your bookshelves would be interesting in this topic.

Thank you, Marla and Hector. Quite a lot of books, and it was interesting to see.

No questions from me, as long as I don’t have to answer anything about my decisions :joy:

Miranette

reading 2 books aloud for a video.

One is “Unaussprechlichen Kulten” (also known as “Nameless Cults“) by a fictional German author, related to the Lovecraft universe.

The second one is “Necronomicon“.

She named each one at the beginning.
