Nope, it’s Victor Pelevin “Secret Views of Mount Fuji”
Thank you for the info
This time I didn’t get far with the online russian keyboard I usually use for this. Instead I just fed the captured image above into google image search - bingo. New technology really makes this stuff simple.
I’m pretty good with the basics on a PC, but sometimes it’s hard for an oldie like me to keep up with all the new technology. So I’m just happy to have others to help out
This topic is not about eating pizza, but since the book caught my attention right there in the middle of the pic, it may as well belong here.
Whether it’s Agnes or Neo reading it, I don’t know. Also, I do get the word Sapiens from the book cover, but the rest remains a mystery to me.
Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari
Not that I’ve read it, only got it from reading the Cyrillic
I also have no idea why the author’s name is in Cyrillic while “Sapiens” is in Latin but an extensive (1 minute) Wikipedia research tells me it’s supposed to be like that. The subtitle is also in Cyrillic though so I’m guessing it is for artistic reasons. The more you know
Thanks for the info! So this has to be “Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind” from 2014, by the Israelian professor in history Yuval Noah Harari. Once again I’m surprised by the “heavy” reading habits of some participants here. There certainly seems to be some intellectual activity going on in these realms
Aqualibra again, taking off her glasses before she starts reading.
As usual I can’t figure out what she is reading. I think it is Stephen King again.
Stephen King «The Dead Zone»
When I was young, I read this book, and now I’m rereading it))
