Unfortunately, the Olympics don’t only produce happy stories. Lindsey Vonn’s planned final start in a race didn’t end at the finish line, or with a medal, but in a rescue helicopter. Initial diagnosis: broken left leg.

Thank you for posting this, it’s extremely unfair decision, there’s nothing political in grief – Vladyslav was disqualified for no reason, and we are very proud of him :heart:

Yes, there are rules. But I don’t see any political statement or propaganda in the commemoration of deceased athletes. Especially since other athletes also commemorate deceased parents, for example.

Only Russia is unfortunately celebrating this decision. :sad_but_relieved_face:
