Yes just as our hopes and prayers are with the Ukrainian people it is also important to recognize the bravery of those Russian people who are expressing their opposition to the war. Let us hope that Ukraine and Russia will soon be free of tyrants as history teaches that in the end, dictators never prosper.

No actual knowledge about estimated restoration of power. However, I would doubt it has anything to do with the Ukraine situation. They are still in the vicinity of St.P so a widespread outage would be unlikely, and there are other places in that area that are up.

Agreed, they have had that issue before. This time the circuit trip most likely hit the ISP equipment/ router etc.
