As you can see ia have a favourites button shown for either version.
Kind of sad to say it, but the old layout version still is my favorite.
What I like in the new version is the dark mode.
Yes, I can see that. Absolutely. I am an old habit kind of person, so it is probably something about that.
Yeah, at least the timeline stands out better
Maybe as time goes by I can get used to both alternately or something. I don`t know exactly yet.
Yeah, we all get f___ed into it eventually.
I had a hell of a job giving up on the Google browser many many months ago but eventually broke the habit. Thatās all it is is habit.
Now always use Edge and DuckDuckGo for search.
One other thing i spotted your days etc are not shown now unless you click on the 3 horiz. lines.
Everything is a habit of course and God knows I am a habit kind of person. Extremely too. Probably sort of one of my weaknesses.
Well when everything turns red instead of blue then you know you have a problem
Oh you use that oneā¦thatās just quackers!!!
Ok smartass
Just wanted to get away from anything Google to be honest as it seems to be very intrusive in every aspect.
It was very difficult at first as we have all had Google ingrained in our brains for years now but managed to break the habit after many weeks of trying.
No doubt many others aināt lily white but the general concensus from many reviewers and experts is that Google is the worst, also it is very heavy on resources.
Oh, I am a quacker too, so do not worry about that.
I think itās a neccessary membership qualification pal, donāt worry we are all nut jobs i think
In one way or another no matter what I think I fit very well with being in here. Absolutely. No doubt.
Speak for yourself, good sir!
No, I do have my moments in that regard, if I am honest but shhh, donāt tell anyone.
Keyboard shortcuts are quicker and easier. IMHO. By the time you move the cursor over the link, right click on it, move up and down to get to the command and click on it, I would already have the tab open and loaded.
Clicking with the middle mouse button (Wheel) always opens a link in a new tab.
In my case it will just take a litte adjustment and getting used to it. I am an extreme old habit kind of person.
I use Photoshop (as we have discussed elsewhere) and shortcuts abound within that particular bit of software and are VERY useful so yes, I do take your point about THIS aspect of computing we are discussing here and shortcuts being of great use.
