@Millie, I could see early on that you liked to entertain and from what I could see enjoy the preparation (as in preparing the food). I have a friend that loves to entertain and her time in the kitchen preparing the food. She gets enjoyment from seeing others enjoying the food and goodies she’s made. You are the perfect hostess in my option. Yes, let there be a some drinks for all but not enough for it to cause issues.
From what I saw the party was perfect and it was all about how you, the hostess and how you managed it (limited drinks, and great food). I’m sure the other ladies liked it as well not having for deal with some that had to many drinks. In turn you, ensured a safe and fun environment for all. Well done!
