Ah OK. I was going to say, they look like lemons to me (the shape vaguely reminded me of them) but I have never seen orange coloured lemons!!!

No, mandarines are round, these seem more elongated.

They come from Asia and can be grown in subtropical parts of the world.

Yes it does. It certainly adds colour to its surroundings. Not sure I have ever tasted a kumquat so I might have to try one, one day. :slight_smile:

I had them in a sweet sour sauce with a steak in a restaurant once and they tasted very good. Fruity, a bit bitter, a little bit spicy like pepper…
