Logan & Elice

That reminds me of the same kind of thing happening in another apartment. The name of the occupant totally escapes me as I write this (how embarrassing  ) but maybe you know who I mean. He was a young man who was on a ‘long relocation’ and then ‘left the project’…a few times if I remember correctly.

Anyway, he used a projector for certain visual effects, in his bedroom.

Oh I have just remembered as I am typing, it was Nekohey (spelling?).

Yes it was Nekohey. He had two projectors. One on each side of the bed.

He’s the only (other) person I can ever remember doing that. You are our archivist / man ‘in the know’ about most VHTV things so maybe you know of someone else doing it?

It has to do with the wide angle lenses used in the cameras. They distort lines when objects are too close.

In a nutshell, it’s when a lens produces curved lines where straight lines should be. The two most common types of lens distortion are barrel distortion and pincushion distortion.

Wide-angle lenses can also make subjects look further away than they really are.

It’s probably for turning on the night light when it detects movement in the dark.
