I noticed that, but got the impression she was waiting for someone to pick her up, like a friend or family member. As for thinking they were arguing, before she left, the body language between them seemed to indicate some sort of tension - she seemed to be trying to say something to him repeatedly and he was totally ignoring her and concentrating on his video game. But unless we can understand Russian, we’ll never know exactly what’s going on. 
Unless she had access to VHTV, I don’t think she has a clue what happened last night or whatever time it was. I doubt she would be snuggling up to him if she did.
I agree. It seemed apparent to me that his friends were setting that up after she left. I doubt there was any “diplomatic absence” or that she had a Tinder date - as I’ve said before, the way she looks at him so adoringly, etc., gives me the impression of a naive girl who thinks she’s in love while he shows all signs of being a cad.
Tessa is well aware of what is going on. My thought is she probably thought, hey why not make some money for doing what I usually do for free. Fuck, eat and s___p. Now I agree with that - the “real life” aspect is compromised to the extent that the participants are conscious that everything they do is being watched by hundreds of thousands of people, mostly on the other side of the world.
