kristy has an onset of hallux valgus in both feet, it can be a genetic predisposition or sometimes from the type of shoes you use. Over time a deformation will form at the height of the thumb, very often only unsightly, sometimes painful … she is beautiful, if I were you I would consider this operation which at the moment is not yet necessary.
What you mean for all us ignorant buggers is Bunions. 
She has always had them, they can often be reduced by strapping around the foot.
But she certainly needs doing something about them before they get much worse.
