Just a big fucking ugly instructor kicking your ass telling you to come right or fuck off.
I experienced it, believe me, I know what it is. But not exactly marked, as it is Russia. But something similar in my country.

1st Airmobile Division, I just had no choice 
My grandf____r was an instructor there and my f____r was the captain there 
Here was one year before they abolished compulsory military service so they did not have any interest anymore to take anybody so I got sent home already at the reception when I appeared for medical examination 
A friend of mine had to go there some years earlier and went there totally _____. He failed the hearing and reaction test and got sent home
Not a fuck I would have done it but it was a compulsory 2 years. That or 6 years in prison. I went the easy way.
Here it was always totally easy to get sent home when you did not want to serve. And nobody gave a fuck when you showed up completely _____ or stoned.
They didnāt want the people with no motivation at all.
There was no ways you could turn up _____ plus the long train journey to your basics destination would have sobered you up. It would not have been a good start to your relation with your instructor and the 3 months he was going to put you through.
There were no soldiers in the institutions used for it here. Civilian personal bad paid and not motivated too. So they were happy for everybody they can sent home. Less work to do for them

we do not have a prison, we have a disciplinary battalion
and if they are still sent to serve somewhere in Siberia, then the road there will seem like an eternity
Siberia in winter does not seem like my ideal holiday destination but hey each to his own. As a training venue I could imagine it would be pure hell.

Punishment, go clean the snow, and in Siberia there is quite a bit of snow in winter
And in summer you have those infernal mosquitoes.
