@VHTV_James Could it be possible to maybe get the translate option back?
As it is now, I rather skip the posts in other languages, as it is pretty bothersome to copy and paste every single post into an extern translator.

me and blu have repeatedly shown and written, guys have browsers and plugins for browsers with automatic translation

Just right click and select “Translate to English”, no need to copy & paste.

That might work on Chrome but not on Firefox.

English is not my own language either, but I’ve had to learn it, because it is the universal language of the world in general, and of the innternet in particular. I think the least you could do is meet me on the half way. As it is now, I have to do double work. I have to translate your posts manually from Russian to English, then I can read and interpet it from English to my own language.

It works well probably if you are english. But not being english google say to translate for my language . It’s a big mess…

I just scroll down when i don’t understand or just don’t have patience for copy paste (Not exclusive for Russian posts, i do the same form german/dutch ones)

What is your native language?

Fair enough. Do we know why they removed the globe?

Too expensive

Norwegian.

why not put it on and try it?

PROMT.One Translate | Free translation, dictionary and word usage in contexts

this is as an example, you can also find plugins that do not use google translator, I now use Yandex translator, there is also a promt translator

I still have to mark, click and select on each and every segment that I want to translate. Why don’t you want to meet me on the half way instead? You can use the translator, and post in English. That would be the fair middle-way.

Besides when written in english it’s way better to understand because the translation from russian many times doesn’t make much sense

When I use Translate to English, it translates everything in the thread that isn’t in English. If you scroll up the thread, anything that is not in English automatically changes to English. I assume what Demonchik has suggested will do the same.

hvor ille er det å forstå?
Hvis jeg svarer en person som ikke kan russisk, skriver jeg på engelsk, hvem kan russisk, jeg skriver på russisk, siden min blir automatisk oversatt uavhengig av språket til personen som skrev den.

even translates captions on pictures

You didn’t answer my question. Why don’t you want to meet me on the half way instead?
Anyway. You can just write in the language you want to write in. If I have the time, energy and interest, I might bother to translate it. But most often I will skip it. So it is your choice. If you want me to read your posts or not.

why don’t you take a little time and forget about this problem forever, you also didn’t answer the previous question

Great shot🤣 this is definitely a kazantip houseimage
