I do not disagree with you on that, and I think I am safe to say that we all know why people go in to tunnel vision mode. What I do disagree with is the people that step in when someone mentions a persons colour, and tell them that it is not appropriate to do so. Pulling someone up for derogatory use of skin colour I can understand but for simply saying the black guy because they don’t know his name I don’t as that is fine unless the person being referred to shows displeasure.
