I doubt that Sidney is a Yank, certainly doesn’t sound like one, more likely from an African country where the Russians had a presence, e.g. Angola , Sudan etc.
I agree , but he certainly uses American words…maybe he was taught by an American in a similar place that the Russians had a presence…after all there would always be Americans watching what the Russians are doing and vice versa!
