Read it again as if you were Kostya…they that is the two couples , had agreed to play…so Tejo then goes cigarette shopping and Kostya goes with him…me…I would have let him go shopping and got on with the business.
Maybe it has to do with independency of the young couple, that would humble to keep
this apartment up as it is.
