In this case, it’s not an insult but a reaction to an unwise comment. At Holiday Inn, you pay to stay and have your room cleaned. This guy showed up, actively participated in a party and when cleaning time came, offered to do nothing (avoided) when he was getting free room and board, thus the rub and the facepalm. Big difference…

I would think that it is a reaction to realizing ones own failure. Like saying to yourself " Oh s__t why didn’t I think of that. Or “this guy k__ls me” and thinks like that.

I think it really depends on how you perceive the reactions used here.
I choose not to use any that may cause negative feelings. I think I might have used the facepalm once or twice, I prefer the thumbs-down as a neutral negative response.

If someone says or shows a pic of Henry trying to touch indira let’s say and she’s trying to get away, someone can post the face palm emoji as a sign of disgust of what we said or showed him doing
You’re right. Too ambiguous, best to avoid it. I still sometimes wander why is this guy hitting himself in the face? Don’t use it just in case. Hate to see somebody hurt himself. However having an emoji showing a leg being pulled would be useful. I could use one right now.
I doubt Indira has sex with anyone else willingly. K I don’t know. he does stupid things sometimes.
