I suspect that there is something else at play. They may be looking for new threesome/foursome candidates. I am convinced that the pressure to be seen swinging never went away.
When the pressure first was applied they tried T & S. That did not work out. They had a foursome with Mikl & Shana. It had its problems but it was a real foursome. More recently there were Jana threesomes.
