Jenya DADYA & Friends

Love his smile… i’m just little sad cuz he will leave soon :disappointed_relieved:

Yes me too

Yes, he will be missed, that’s for sure. He’s a lovely young man and he really makes visiting this page and of course his cameras, a real joy.

He woke up today, looking quite serious. I hope everything is OK…

The world is just the opposite. He, polite cute who never raised his hands, abandons the project. She, who almost sent a boy to the hospital, is still in the project.

Hey.

If its an red-ear swamp turtle, they do prefer to be on dry land a lot.
Back in the days when I did have such turtle I hardly had any water in a tank, and mostly just rocks and sand. If the tank where close to a window, and the sun got into it, the turtle would sun bath as much as it could.

No turtle or tortoise expert, and it can also differ between each individual, but after a while I just let the turtle on the floor and in no tank. My turtle seem much more happy not being stuck by water.

No, turtles should never be in front of a window as the sun can heat the water too much. which increases the chance of bacteria growing and the turtles kin getting scalded. this is why UV lamps and heat lamps are recommended. sure they love heat and light, but you have to be careful with it. and they’re amphibious so need a good depth of water to swim in. they need to have exercise as well as basking time. I’m not lecturing, just pointing out that you’re factually incorrect.

 As stated in my post. I am no expert.

What I was trying to say, was the turtle I used to have, much more preferred being on land then constant in water. Did have UV-lamp, heater, plants and stuff. Used an tank that used to by used by fish before.

This was before turtle was legal as pet in my area, and was taken away.

Not sure why but there no longer seems to be any night time nudity (or quite so much nudity at any other times in fact) from our man

I had to follow up my last post with this one because of the obvious contrast in what we see. How lovely to watch our man ‘JD’ this morning, going back to his old ways, for s___ping.
